I have them going to the playoffs this year as a wildcard.... then again, they always seem to disappoint.

Probably some truth in that, it never has been a mentally tough team. Pervades thru the organization from top to bottom. Ownership is horrible - they really have made some mind numbing decisions. Fire a coach that just went 14-2 and replace him with Norval Eugene Turner?! Really?!

There's a reason Archie Manning steered Eli away from that organization.

I thought the Chargers looked very good in preseason. If I had to vote today, I would not know what to vote.
I want to see a real game......

The Chargers are talented enough to go 12-4 and inconsistent enough to go 8-8 and neither finish will come as a surprise to me. I'm guessing they go 9-7 powered by an offense that will be as good as any in the league one week and as bad as any other the very next. Their defense isn't great, either. It's not horrible, but nothing special.
