As explained in the Team-by-Team Thread, I am planning on making a thread every four days for a different team. The first few posts will be questions, requests for predictions, etc. There will be a poll unless I don't feel like making one. Some teams are less interesting than others. Please participate in posting articles, predictions, etc.

I hope Andrew Luck gets a Super Bowl under his belt soon. He's a great QB, one of the next greats, and if he can just overcome an aging Brady and a nearly retired Manning, he can get the ring.

Dang I'm torn. Really want some team to rise up a slay the Pats, just can't believe in this team though. Maybe Steelers or Ravens. I'm sure it won't be the Bronco's.

Damn it some team in the AFC needs to rise up.

They will have a great regular season. Unfortunately for Luck, they have not improved their defense.
Poor defense does not typically fare well in the playoffs.

The Colts have never been victims of Brady, they've always been the victim of the Pats great running game and defense. Deflating footballs is an act of performance enhancing, if it wasnt, why do it? But in reality, the Colts never lost to the Pats QB, they lost cuz they were weak in the trenches. True story

Colts challenge for a first round bye this year, but I agree that their defense will limit them in the playoffs.

If the Colts get HFA, defense won't matter. How this team is built, if they have to go on the road in a open stadium, they will lose. If they play at home and in Luck's college territory in the Super Bowl? That's one ring for luck

^ I couldn't disagree more. The more playoff football I watch the more I realize anything can happen and no team winning is a sure thing. Teams with HFA don't always make the SB. It just happens that the #1 seeds from both conferences have reached the SB two years in a row now, but this is a break from the norm in which teams closer to the bottom tier of playoff teams reach the big game with 10-6 or even 9-7 records. No team with HFA is a lock to reach the Super Bowl.

Victims they were....to Brady? Not so much. I've been begging Colts management to win the trenches. The best QB never wins, but the team that dominates the trenches, always wins. Manning/Brady is proof of that..

True if Manning was a better QB, he wouldn't get dominated by Brady. I'm glad he went to Denver, because Denver dominated NE before, but not now with Peyton there

parry is a starter as a rookie at nose tackle . 6-1 and 300 pounds always been a can't play the line because of his small frame but it will be hard to get under him . atleast the colts have all new bodies to stop the run we need one to turn into the goose again .

if parry keeps linemen off the linebackers he has done his job . take on 2 and push them back . go parry

Even with Peyton facing a pretty dominant Pats defense over the years and Brady facing the Colts soft as warm butter defense, I can guarantee you Manning has put up better numbers head to head. Regardless, I'm going through another Manning/Brady debate with Luck & Wilson.....and we all laugh at seahawk fans. Dominant defense and running games wins super bowls, not inferior QBs
