As explained in the Team-by-Team Thread, I am planning on making a thread every four days for a different team. The first few posts will be questions, requests for predictions, etc. There will be a poll unless I don't feel like making one. Some teams are less interesting than others. Please participate in posting articles, predictions, etc.

This one is a tough call. Definite step backwards IMO. Was thinking of going with miss the playoffs, but looking at the NFC it's hard to pick 2 wild card teams better

I agree with jarntt. It is unfortunate that Detroit will slip for doing the right thing.
It was right to let Donkeykong walk but it will still hurt.
Sometimes things end up working out well but it usually does not for the Lions.
Personally, I hope the Lions win their division and Miami finishes last.....

I chose wild card loss, Defense will be worse without Suh, Oline will be better. I think 9-7 or so and a loss in the wild card

Not really that hard IMO. Cards for one, then who ever doesn't win the NFC east for another, Cowboys or Eagles. Vikings could beat out the Lions in the division perhaps and the Rams are a wild card also.

I do not understand why everyone is so down on this team. You lost ONE great player, Suh, and an end-of-the-line RB. I see a team on a steady upward trend the past three years that is ready to take the final step. Veteran playoff-ready QB, an explosive Rookie RB, the best WR corps in the NFL, a top-flight Defense, and a Super Bowl-tested Head Coach. I cannot vote in the Poll because I am a newb. Here is my projection of this season's playoffs.
