It's a lot closer than it first seems. Tennessee has such great history that gets overlooked a bit.

But, Ohio State should win comfortably.

Tennessee fans can blame Alabama for stealing their thunder too often.

That one win really changed the perception for them after suffering so much humiliation from the southern teams lately.

But, they won with authority and maybe turned a corner for their confidence in bowl games.

Have you watched Tennessee lately? They've been in a terrible rut for the past 8 years. I don't see how recent history is a positive for Tennessee over Ohio St with or without the playoff championship.

Personally I've been going off all of history on these things.

SEC fans will also be interested to see that Edwards predicted two other SEC teams to make New Year’s Six bowls. He has Alabama facing off against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl and Tennessee playing Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

Tennessee landing a coveted spot in the New Year’s Six games would be quite a feat for Butch Jones and the rising Tennessee football program. Edwards likes Joshua Dobbs at quarterback and the 18 returning starters coming back for 2015.

Yeah, I remember that.

Some people seem to be a lot higher on Tennessee than I am. I do think we'll have a good team, but lack of depth at RB and QB still concerns me. If Dobbs gets hurt, then we'll have to plug in a true freshman.

I try not to be a huge homer, I predicted Tennessee to go 6-6 (3-5) last year and that's what we finished. Still sticking by 8-9 regular season wins this season.
