Single choice and can change your vote as much as you want/need until deadline

In case of a tie, the higher seed advances. I'll do 2 of the first round matchups each week, then do a matchup a week after that. We'll see how it goes.

Went with Florida, not that it matters because either will lose the next one.

I could include a loser's bracket and make it double elimination, which I will need to change the format of the bracket. Seeds and matchups don't change.

Should we do that?

I say yes. Just do a secondary bracket for the losers and keep them separate

Here is what a loser's bracket would look like at this point.

This is how the NCAA individual wrestling brackets worked

*A* = The loser between (Nebraska/LSU winner) and (Ohio State/Tennessee winner)
*B* = The loser between (Oklahoma/Washington winner) and (Texas/Miami winner)
*C* = The loser between (Michigan/TBD winner) and (Notre Dame/TBD winner)
*D* = The loser between (USC/TBD winner) and (Alabama/TBD winner)
*E* = The loser of the semifinals on bottom half of bracket
*F* = The loser of the semifinals on top half of bracket
*G* = The loser of "G" match goes for 7th place
*H* = the loser of "H" match goes for 5th place

went with Arkansas. While for younger gen it might seem silly, I can remember when Arkansas was a national power. Florida, until the 2000s, just didnt register for me.

I'm sure this has to do with geography, local history.

How is Michigan State 24th and Arkansas and Ole Miss higher despite being worse statistically?

I have decided to do a consolation bracket as well. After next week, I will do a winner's matchup and a loser's matchup.

Single elimination. (Tennessee should make the final four). :thumb:

OK. I was a day late, a dollar short, and should have read through the entire thread before posting.
Thanks again for doing this, 'jerm. Great off-season exercise.
