My original idea was I would just use my vote in his honor, even in that matchup(but I would still argue for Alabama). But I think this would be better way because it more includes everyone. I figured others would do the same with their votes and then it kind of goes outside the bounds of things. So I think 1 understood vote for him is best. A missing man formation of sorts.

If for some reason we don't give a vote, I'll go with my original idea.

Obviously it would be the OP's decision on that. But it's definitely a cool idea. 1 understood vote is the most fair, imo. It would honor RD while having minimal impact on the over all vote.
