Im about to play this hardcore, once Santa officially puts the shit under the tree. I look forward to going back through this thread once that day comes.

Ive pretty much played sports-related games for the past decade. Dabbled in GTA and COD, but never got hooked. Something about Destiny makes me want to play it though.

Just unboxed the PS4 this morning & we're stuck playing Madden 2K15 and WWE 2K15 b/c of no PSN.

Its really stupid that Destiny is Sony's big 'exclusive' when it comes to content and they can't put the resources in to make their online as good as Microsofts

Ive been farming the first chest of Crota's End to get Radiant Shards and Energies. I hope they dont patch that.

I really like 2 of the 3 new Crucible maps. The Black Garden map 'Pantheon' is probably my favorite map in the game and the Earth map is the best 'big' map. The moon map looks cool but it has lots of verticality and terrain which makes it just a Shotgun orgy. Control is probably my favorite thing in the whole game right now

Define "farming"? Like once a week? (per character)
The whole raid can be solo'd... I've done every part solo - minus Crota. And once I'm a 32, I'll attempt that part.

Ive just been doing the first box once a week with each character. I'm sure it can be solo'd but I haven't really had the time to do the research on that.

the first 2 raid drop parts are incredibly easy (by cheesing).

The lamps can be done in 5 minutes or less. The bridge takes a bit longer - depending on if you are a sunsinger, hunter or titan...

Ill try out the 2nd chest runs tomorrow. I didnt think they'd be easy to get, too. I just had a friend (who is godawful at the game) pick up a Hawkmoon from a 1st chest and then say 'I dont like Handcannons so I dont use it' and I figured that Id try hitting the raid

Yeah, I assume that was a big deal with Vault of Glass, too.

I also heard that the they are holding back weapons for a little while so that they can patch the raid first. Or at least thats what people were saying before the DLC came out.

It feels like a large strike (like say Mars). And its challenging if you do it solo. But have 2 32's and the rest 31's? Pshhh easy.
