On Friday give me the Badgers, the Hawks, the Terms and the Spartans. Big ten title game will be Wisconsin over Maryland. This is a pretty good call, I see it the same way.

I have never seen a season like the one Maryland just completed. They get up on an inferior team and let them hang around every game. They just never seem to be able to deliver the kill shot and put the game away at the 10 minute mark.

But they won literally every single close game they played this year and they played a ton of them. Now some of it has been luck, they hit every game winner and the other guys missed every single final shot in the last seconds. But they deserve a lot of credit too. Very simply they make free throws unlike any MD team I've ever seen and they have 2 of the more clutch players around in Trimble and Wells.

Should be a fantastic tournament. I'd be shocked if Wisconsin didn't win. And it wouldn't surprise me if they played one of Maryland, Michigan State, Indiana, or Northwestern in the final. Hell even Minnesota could get there, if they play to their potential.

That is exactly how I see it although I think Wisconsin gets a 2.

Kentucky, Duke, Virginia and Villanova are the 1 seeds IMO.

is Maryland any good or is it a very very down year for the Big 10?

I know they have a nice win versus Iowa State on a neutral court, the blowout loss to UVA at home was expected, AND that Melo Trimble was a nice addition.

But, this team totally sucked for the last 5 years or so in the ACC...and frankly havent really been good since 2002, other than a brief blip when Greivous Vazquez almost singlehandedly kept the program from collapse.

I believe it a combination of both things. The Big 10 is having a very off year AND Maryland finally found a group of players that seem to enjoy being in CPK.

I believe it a combination of both things. The Big 10 is having a very off year AND Maryland finally found a group of players that seem to enjoy being in CPK.

I don't wanna take anything away from Maryland, but the BIG is WAY down this year. OSU flat out sucks and they're in the tourney no problem. Any other year and this team doesn't get into the NIT. But I think the same can be said for everyone. As bad as the BIG is, and they're looking to get 7 teams in?!? and when's the last time you saw a leaderboard like this.. an entire season goes by and there's virtually no change at the top. I'll be glad when this season's done. Maybe next year will be more exciting.

Murray State has no business being in the tourney, frankly they arent even worthy of at large consideration. 1 top 100 win, 3 sub 100 losses ( including a sub 200 loss ), a SOS of 234 which COULD be fortgiven IF their OOC SOS wasnt 217. There are 2 teams MORE deserving than Murray State of at large bids just amongst other md majors ( Old Dominion and Buffalo ) and no one has either of those 2 teams in right now. That doesnt even speak to the scads of major conference teams that deserve a bid more than the Racers. Murray State didnt play a single major conference team, the closest they came was Xavier and they got beat by 30, they also lost to a AAC team in Houston who finished LAST in the American... Even their sole matchup vs another tourney caliber mid major resulted in a 35 point loss ( Valpo ).

Iowa did get crushed by Texas and if Iowa had only that one loss to Texas as a top 50 RPI game and went 25-5 but lost their conference tourney then Iowa wouldnt be deserving of a bid either. You can argue against Indiana being in, thats fine but in no way is Murray State the next team up for inclusion IF the Hoosiers are left out
