Because they always finish 8-8, it is tempting to pick that, but I'll be a fool and predict 9-7. Maybe they sweep the Eagles or beat everyone in the second group (though I already guessed high in the third group).

Comes down to one of the four teams fielding a defense. Dallas is handicapped in that dept by having Mr 0-16 a the lingering stench of Kiffin and the Tampa two BS.

I'd say Philly is at the biggest disadvantage since they won it last year. Hard to repeat, for some reason. Giants have been quiet, expect them to be an issue. Dallas' defense doesn't look like they are ready, will have to get exceptional effort and health to give Dallas a chance. Skins, I'd say they have a great shot at the East this year. My guess:

ha, maybe. Your offense and defense got better, and RG3 is more healthy. The eagles I knocked down just because they weren't that great last year but got the title.

I'm on record as saying I don't think the Eaglettes repeat, just doesn't happen in the NFCE that often. And I agree with your assessment of the Eagles last year. There was a hell of a lot of luck involved in that season for them. Foles with his lack of interceptions (lots of passes that were dropped that would have been interceptions) facing backup QBs and teams that had major injuries when the Eagles played them. Test will be how they play this year. Think their record is being over rated this year myself, but I understand those not in the division giving them the edge based on record alone.

I could see all 4 teams being in the race at the end of the season, but only because a .500 team will still be in the race. It could simply take 9-7 to win the East this year.

But that would still be a maybe after watching the Mo Claiborne experience. I think the Claiborne trade is the biggest reason I hate the DeMarcus Lawrence trade so much. Using two high draft picks on one guy can be devastating if you miss. Now, if Ozzie Newsome were our GM, maybe, but Jerry Jones.....

you are more optimistic than me. I think a very poor defense brings a team down more than a good offense can make a team rise. I think back to the Denver and Detroit games last year. Offense was outstanding and the defense was incredibly horrible.
