And that is something that is squarely placed on the shoulders of the manager. I'm not asking for him to get the boot or anything, but some of this looks like Wash 2.0 so far. Doesn't seem like any messages are being sent.

I'll give Bannister the whole year. But he does seem to be Wash jr. so far.

I honestly tried to stir-the-pot a little on the managerial front last night and got nowhere. And I wasn't trying to be devils advocate either.

Some of his moves are dumbfounding to me. And some of his, lack-of-moves, is even more perplexing.

Not panicking at this early date. But readily admit, it's disconcerting at best to see what is/isn't happening outta the dugout IMO to date.

Like it or not, we had, what appeared to be a damn good man in Bogar. And Banister is no spring-chicken. He should have his ducks-in-a-row a whole lot better than he does, at least to me.

HSO 1: TEX is a AAAA team through 2016 ... so clearly player and managerial development is the priority over winning.

HSO 2: TEX could lay off Magadan and Jones to save money to pay for Josh's salary.

HSO 3: In May TEX will demote any player on its roster with options and replace with AAA talent. In June ... will demote the AAA guys to AA and promote the Frisco guys. High Desert in July. Hickory in August. Will be a fan favorite event as fans vote for who to be on the September roster.

Martin robs us of a potential run in the 1st and then, as on cue, we can't capitalize on error and a hit batter any better than one lousy run.

Left the bases loaded. Our hitting with RISP is just awful. Come to think of it, our hitting PERIOD is just awful.
