Williams is 3-3 tonight so far with another double. He has his average up close to .400 now.

I'm trying not to get too hyped about these young guys, but damn I can't help it.

Pujols would be giddy to be back north of the Mendoza line by the end of the series.

Josh Hamilton just craves some pure Colombian and a good piece of strange.

Honestly, a nice piece of strange might do Hamilton a world of good.

Ya know guys, maybe Choo is still trying too hard to justify that albatross contract he got. It's no mystery that players often start slowly pressing too hard in the first year of their new giant contract in an attempt to live up to it. The irony here is they'll live up to it by doing exactly what they've already don't, but I digress.

Choo kept playing through an injury (very poorly I might add) that ultimately needed surgery. It's not beyond the realm of the realistic to think he's pressing very hard after a real bummer of a first year in a sort of delayed first year pressing.

I don't know. I just feel like the guy had been too good for too long, with too good of peripherals to stay this bad for long. Maybe I'm just being too optimistic, but I just don't think he's going to be this bad all season.

I like the pitching matchups ... especially getting CJ in front of Santiago. Could be the series that fuels a strong home stand to follow.

I'd honestly faint if we just won a series this month.

I don't think he will either, and he might still be dealing with those back spasms.

Yeah. He's batting .388
Mazara is batting .368
I see Tripp Martin got his 3rd HR tonight for Hickory. I think he is hitting .333 with 3 HRs, a triple and 2 doubles. He is slugging at a .955 clip. Him and Luke Tendler have both been on fire for Hickory.
