Looks like Nash is working with more than just Clarkson. According to this mornings paper he has become a "periodic visitor to the Lakers practice facility working with rookies Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle and second year forward Ryan Kelly."

It's a role that he said he could continue to fill beyond this season:

I'm here. It's harder for them to get the time because they're in the middle of (the season) right now, but it's great to work with them. And Jordan's been an incredible pupil.

The willingness to help could extend into participating in FA pitches he said:

Obviously, who knows what the future holds, but I'd love to see the franchise come back in full force, and I'm definitely open to helping out.

Yea, I was watching the interview with Nash, If I recall he said "Clarkson is an amazing kid, who will have a great, and long career in the NBA"

That is great news TJF12 and CL67. Perhaps he is done with his pout and funk about the end of his career as a player and will accept the genius of his vast experience. Kelly is literally fading and I think Nash's presence will help revive his career because he could face the major exit if Kelly doesn't get his shooting confidence back. Many sports venues are touting the Nash trade as one of the worst in team history but as a Lakers coach, he could go along way in shutting the mouths of some these so-called "experts".

I agree. It would be awesome if his coaching helped the Lakers return to the promised land after his health prevented him from doing so as a player.

To be fair to some of the "experts", when you look at how things turned out, that trade was one of the worst in team history. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it was the worst trade in team history.

However, how it turned out doesn't change the fact that 30 out of 30 GM's would have made the exact same trade if presented with the same opportunity.
