I'm not really that worried because I'm not sure we don't have better options waiting in the minors. I like Colby but at this point he's a placeholder. I don't think it would be a terrible thing for Chi Chi to get some ML innings this year. Not to mention Bonilla, Martinez, and Tepesch.

I think Banister will evaluate who will help most in the rotation and will use them there and if Colby isn't the best option he won't feel obligated to him start him. That decision may come later in the season, but I hope Colby has a good year and the young guys push him.

I was up half the night and it rained/sleeted starting about 1 AM here at Cedar Creek Lake. Then I looked out at 3 AM and the ground was covered, and it was snowing to beat-the-band.

My guess is we got 1 1/2 to 2" here, but it's melting faster than Dick's-headband now.

Is that an old school enough of a weather conversation as you care to have?

We got a nice 1" sleet freezing rain base and then 7" of snow on top. Our 7 year old grand daughter asked me to build a snow man with her. We just finished. Doesn't get any better than that.

My sons snow man from last Wednesday was still up until yesterday morning when it was 65 degrees, then it melted. It was 35 again by 5pm yesterday evening though, just didn't get any snow this time, only ice.

Is the game snowed out again DT? I have a start time of 3:05 eastern but it doesn't appear, based on the box score on CBS, that they've started yet?

Rangers P Yu Darvish (triceps) pulled from start against Royals

Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish left Thursday's game against the Royals due to right triceps tightness, according to MLB.com.

The injury is not believed to be serious and Darvish will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Darvis said he felt tightness in his arm before the game, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He added it's nothing to worry about, though.

Don't care how many times they say "Its nothing to worry about". After last year I will always worry

No sign of them yet. Dodgers and Sox is all I find.

Been watching that one on MLB network. Posted the story on Darvish a minute ago, so I figured they were close to starting or had already. Im sure they will turn up somewhere eventually

Rangers SS Elvis Andrus targeting Cactus League action next week

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus, who is working his way back from a mild patella tendinitis in his left knee, is targeting game action at some point next week, per the Star-Telegram. Although he's scheduled to miss at least Texas' first four spring games, Andrus has been taking batting practice and working on his fielding.

"I'm still doing everything, still hitting," Andrus said. "It's a long spring training.

"I feel better," Andrus said. "If I keep feeling this way I think I'll be ready to play next week. I don't think missing four or five games is going to do something good or bad to me."

Rangers OF Shin-Soo Choo sent home from camp with illness

Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo was sent home from camp on Wednesday due to upper respiratory infection and flu-like symptoms, according to the Star-Telegram. Assistant general manager Thad Levine indicated that he sent Choo home to avoid getting other teammates in the clubhouse sick.

Don't need the flu going around camp
