Petteway lost a lot of my respect last night for the way he was acting.

RA has been talking all week about how Petteway is ruining the team and then coincidentally he goes and acts a complete fool last night in our home arena and in front of the entire nation.

He has always acted a fool, but last night he took it to another level. It just seems like with the timing of it all it has finally boiled over and there's nothing the guys can do to make it better unless Petteway either leaves or he makes big time personal changes.

It truly baffles me that Tim isn't able to keep that dude in check. You start to wonder if he really is a straight up diva. Like he thinks he's above the whole team and is just biding his time till he gets drafted and becomes the next Derrick Rose.

I have heard that he is dating some chick who is quite a bit older than him. So if true, my guess is that she has taken away his man-card. I see it happen all the time

I heard through the grapevine that Walter started hanging out with some Jesse Pinkman character. Not sure if it's true, but some people think they're making meth together.

No there is nothing wrong with that. Actually we were driving inside quite a bit in the first half, but we couldn't get any fouls called on us.

Kaminsky got the benefit of the doubt on about two or three there in the first half that he should've been called on.

I can't say that that lost us the game, but Wisconsin did have 17 more points at the free-throw line than we did. And that was simply because they were at the free-throw line a lot more than we were.

Well then we are being seriously outcoached a lot this year because we suck at getting to the free throw line compared to our opponents. Heres some statistics:

In Nebraska's 11 losses this season, our opponents have taken a total of 50 more free throws than us (231 vs 181) making 74% of them compared to Nebraska shooting 67%.

In our 7 Conference losses, our opponents have taken 52 more freethrows than us (148 vs 96) making 76% of them compared to 67% for Nebraska.

Conversely, in Nebraska's 13 wins, Nebraska has taken 54 more attempts than our opponents (290 vs 236) shooting 75% compared to our opponents 62%.

In Nebraska's 5 Conference wins they are outshooting the opponent by 6 attempts (91 vs 85) and shooting 73% compared to 60% for the opponent.



Now I'm not a mathematician, but maybe getting to the free throw line more helps? Making free throws while there helps even more.

Nebraska has held its last 14 opponents to under 70 points on the road. That is the second longest streak in the nation, dating to last season.

It is amazing to think that we suck so badly this year when we had the Offensive firepower that we had last year and everybody returned.

I think we are obviously a different team when Pitchford is hitting like last night.
