I am anxious to see how Cole Winn continues to perform in his new role in the bullpen. His first time in that new role went great last night.

Leiter and Acker both pitch tonight. They are the two starters that I think have the best chances to appear in a big league game with the Rangers this season. There are probably 3 or 4 relievers with as good or better chances, but among our prospect staring pitchers, Acker and Leiter seem to be the closest.

I’d be ok with 1 game. We are struggling badly right now. Gotta keep expectations in check.

The Astros have been struggling worse than us. I want a sweep, but I will take 2, if we play all three games well.

If we could stay healthy things would look different. Smith and Duran are good utility guys but are not a Jung or Seaver. We have beat Taveras to death but he hurts this team at the plate. Huff would do a better at the plate than Kinzer. Total it all up and the problem stares you in the face.

Walsh is hitting .167 over the last 7 games. I will be glad to get Lowe back.

I vote for that. This is not the WS team we know.

The team last year is pretty close to what we had at the beginning of last year. We had some injuries along the way. But we added some pitching at the end and bolstered the BP in the playoffs with Gray and Heaney. We are missing Jung and Lowe right now. But if they goes as planned I believe we will be a better team when the playoffs come back around. We just need to maintain for now.

Watch video if you want to know why LeClerc is struggling this year. He got his pitch count in vs a dude perfect guy and gave up a hit! Haha. Fun video and not meant to be mean toward LeClerc, but funny it gave me this funny thought so I had to post here.
