The Devils aren't very good and the Red Wings are scuffling, so we should have another fine week, especially the way we're playing.

The long layoff between games isn't something I especially like, though. Hopefully we don't cool off with the rest.

All 3 teams are struggling, we have a good shot at extending the streak to 9 games this week

Good news is that the Flyers are beating the Islanders 3-1 in the 3rd. If that holds up, Pens will have a 3 point lead over the Islanders in the standings with the Islanders having 1 game in hand.

Bad news is that the Rangers are beating the Panthers 3-1 in the 3rd. If that holds up, Rangers will have a 2 point lead over the Pens in the standings with the Pens having 1 game in hand.

Rangers beat the Panthers 4-2, which gives them 2 points over us, but we have a game in hand.

Flyers beat the Islanders 4-1, which gives the Pens a 3 point lead over the Islanders, but the Islanders have a game on hand. Pens have 6 points over the Flyers, but the Flyers have a game in hand.

Kings lost 5-2 to the Predators today, so that makes the Pens the undisputed hottest team in the NHL!

Islanders look like a mess without Halak. I think it will come down to us & the Rangers for 2nd place in the Metropolitan.

Capitals clinched the Metropolitan Division tonight with a 4-2 win over the Senators.

Oh well.
