I am not a fan of the 100pt difference in trade rule.

Redskins would like to trade #5 pick to the Saints for #13, #31 and #75. Both GM's agree to this trade but its more then the 100pt difference.

#5 = 1,700
#13 = 1,150
#31 = 600
#75 = 215

Rules are rules. Why not just take #13 and #31, you are already winning the trade? Or kick some later picks back to get within 100

I say we use the NFL trade value calculator and it has to be within 100pt difference.

I agree with this. I'm not a fan of having to be within 100 points either.

If both GM's think its fair and the commish Nos doesn't believe one person is getting screwed (Skins-Ram trade) then I feel the trade should be passed.

Here's the problem with that...we've done this in the other mocks, and it turned into 10 pages of bitching because I got the better of some trades.......remember?

Then there's history. In 1984 the Bengals traded the #1 pick to New England for the #16 and #28 picks. According to this way of thinking this trade wouldn't work.

#1 = 3000
#16 = 1000
# 28 = 660

To move up from #3 to #1 shouldn't have to cost a 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks. Not that I expect that trade to happen, but that seems steep to just consider moving up 2 spots. Though I most likely won't be seeking too many trades, so whatever...

Ah Ritz controversy already you have to love it...haha! If anything Nos could loosen the purse strings a touch as some teams do ridiculous things in real life but I wouldn't make it more than 500 points or claims of collusion will come out. Now Ritz you don't want that do you???

On another note we should be able to rank these picks so people actually try to keep this real. I wouldn't include trading next years picks unless you can deduct this from the score. Anyone have ideas? I think that it would be cool to see how this plays out a year later. We should figure out last years while we're at it. whatcha think Nos?

500 would be fine and I like your idea of keeping track of previous years picks. It all depends on Nos and we will follow what ever he suggests. Just hope he shows up before Monday.

I would love to include future picks but we will not have the same people drafting next year so it would make it unfair for the people next year.

I am all for leaving it up to me to decide picks BUT like Stoke said then if I ever deny a trade people will spend the rest of the draft bitching about it.

Ritz you liked 100 points before it went against your trade, i'm not changing the rules now because then someone will want them changed tomorrow and it just leads to more bitching.

I gotta definite yes from Hammer he will be drafting for the Titans.
