Bad Matchup for Nos, Nos' defense strength is the cornerbacks, and that wont help when Jim Brown is running...

I pick Clayton...

I agree with Milk about Jim Brown being a nightmare matchup, but I think Nos has some weapons in that regard. His corners can man up, which is huge, allowing either Tatum or Woodson(good vs run or pass) to help in the box, and Ray Lewis is down there as well. I think Clayton has the better defensive line, and would shut down Sims, but Marino has a couple of mismatches in Rice and Gates to go to quickly. It wouldn't surprise me to see either guy win this one

Nos

Jim Brown is awesome but his receivers are probably the worst in the entire draft so Brown would have to go for 300 yards and 5 TD's to beat me. He might slow down my passing game a little but not enough. I win this one fairly easily IMO.

Hater lol.

I think Id win this but Im okay with bowing out. I do find it odd that people are knocking Steve Smith and Plaxico Burress. These guys were real game changers in the playoffs which is more than I can say about 75% of the WRs on here.

I think I win this one fairly easily, btw. Marino would be sacked like 10 times

I'm in the shotgun, Marino has one of the quickest deliveries of all time. Gates would go for 150 yards and 2 td's and my receiver trio would go for another 250 and 2td's. Montana would be called for intential grounding 15 times because nobody is open...

I agree with you... Nos, has the worst offensive line drafted... he might have the better receivers, but you have to look at the whole team not just the scorers...

Marc Bulger literally had one of the quickest deliveries of all time and he still got killed behind the Rams oline. I have 2 top end elite pass rushers and you have 0 top end elite pass blockers. Gates cant run block and your RB isnt much of a threat. One dimensional Marino loses in the playoffs. I also think I can cover your WRs.

Maybe, maybe not ... Offensive line is the least important thing in these drafts IMO. Everyone one of my guys went to a pro bowl so they were all better than average. If you notice nobody really spent a ton of money on their O-lines. Having 5 pro bowl players on your O-line is better than what any of these defenses have really ever seen so while some D-lines might have an advantage on my O-line or others O-lines they aren't gonna simply run them over.

I have to decide whether I start drafting for you guys to pick me to win, or for me and what team I think is good... It seems like you all vote in similar ways...

As far as I can tell, Wide receiver is the least important position once all positions become elite because teams get conservative when everything is on the line and they let the defense play more physical in the playoffs.

So we are comparing Bulger to Marino?

Two elite pass rushers who average what maybe 1 sack a game going against offenses who dont have 5 pro bowl offensive linemen.

I like how people make it seem like every play will be a QB sack. That's redonkulous. I had Joe Greene and Merlin Olsen as my DT's one draft and it did me no good, think I lost in round one.

I also ranked your team lower a bit because you drafted 2 LT's. I also think it's funny you talk about my offensive line when you have Sean Locklear who was really more a tackle than guard and not a very good one.

I like your team Montana, Brown, Smith, Champ all excellent players but your pass game would be non existent and think what you wnt but you would not hold down my pass game.

Thats the thing, not all positions are elite...

My team isn't gonna get conservative, we are gonna spread your defense out and tear it up with Rice, Smith, Galloway and Gates... :suds:

Thats fair. Locklear is def not up to par with this caliber of talent.

I do think you underrate pass rush. Pressure is not the same as sacks. I also think your #2 and #3 WRs are very pedestrian. Rice and Gates would give anyone issues but I still think that leads to a 'one dimensional Marino' argument.
