I read a story suggesting that this fight equals five Super Bowls to Las Vegas. If that's the case, I could definitely see a lot of big money pushing for a rematch.

Floyd does this in every fight. I'm kind of surprised he didn't put it in the contract. He used to wear one st of gloves and broke his hands a bunch of times. Switched to a new pair and hasn't hurt his hands once, but hasn't KO'd anyone either. He actually had quite a few KO's when he was younger. When he was fighting I think Maidana he pointed out that you could feel your knuckle through just pushing down on the gloves Maidana wanted to wear. Which obviously adds quite a bit of power to your punches. Whereas Mayweather wears pillows on his hands. Mike Tyson could suckered punch a 87 pound cheerleader, and if he was wearing Mayweather's gloves she probably wouldn't even go down.

If Mayweather could get everyone to wear his gloves nobody would have a chance against him.

But I also think a big part of it is he likes to wait until the day before the fight and then make a huge deal about it. He goes home, puts it out of his mind and sleeps like a baby. His opponent gets all worked up about it, and it might help distract him. Watch Mayweather tonight. He may be the best boxer out there, or not. But he is definitely among the best about all the mental shit and getting in other fighters heads and annoying them with the little things. He'll grab a guy for dear life and just clinch him up, and then complain to the ref about the guy holding him.
