The Steelers for the most part, have never been huge players in Free Agency.
That, for the most part, has served them well & worked out for us.

The Steelers use their available cap space to lock up their own guys.

A sound strategy. However, we have not signed 1 significant Free Agent this offseason. This does not bother me, as we got Woodley extended with hopefully Timmons, Wallace & Troy to follow? (My Order)

The question I have is this. The Eagles, if I am not mistaken fielded a pretty good team last yr, & I believe they all got paid last yr & had existing or expiring contracts, just like the Steelers players.

My Question:

Just where are the Eagles getting all of this damn salary cap space?

They just signed former Giants WR Steve Smith tonight.

I understand having salary cap space. Even a good bit of salary cap space.

But this much? To sign this many Big Name Free Agents?

Something shady is going on, I think.

Plus, they still have to get Desean Jackson extended. (Big Money) Michael Vick too. (Big Money)

Where are the Eagles getting all of this cap space from?
