The Nationals come to Chicago. Flexen gets another shot to start and has been on a good string of starts. Go Sox!
I think you may be right - Fedde will have a greater value to the Sox as a trade object.fedde doing it again! and vaughn actually comes thyru with a clutch hit.
I hope he can hang onto whatever he found for a little while longer. Him and Clev are absolutely on potential buyer's radars right now. Pham will certainly be moved, as well. Kopech if he continues to improve. Eloy if he doesn't completely come apart? Maybe Dejong? Flexen sucks, but he's had some success in the past.I think you may be right - Fedde will have a greater value to the Sox as a trade object.
I heard this morning that Fedde is leading the AL in WAR with a 2,33 already,I hope he can hang onto whatever he found for a little while longer. Keep him? Why? We're not competing for a while and he's an unrestricted free agent after this season.I heard this morning that Fedde is leading the AL in WAR with a 2,33 already,
It's hard to tell what the Sox will do but it looks to me like they would like to develop Kopech as the closer and keep him.
Rich - Fedde is on the 1st year of a 2 year contract - worth about $7.5 million per year.Keep him? Why? We're not competing for a while and he's an unrestricted free agent after this season.
Change of scenery would be best for him anyway.
