The Seattle Seahawks draft was puzzling, as usual, but a few players will be better than most thought (as usual).
The Seattle Seahawks FA was very good. Kept and extended all of the right players and didn't waste current or future $

Key position battles interested in: Wide Receiver & Cornerback (after Sherman).

Seattle will beat the 49ers at home, then Jim Harbaugh will run streaking after the game around the stadium telling everyone he really is better than Pete Carroll then the Santa Clara people will send him to Alcatraz because it is the only place his inflated ego can be contained without causing a panic.

And Cris Carter will call the 49ers receiving corp mediocre or Doug Baldwin will challenge him to a MMA fight on PPV.

:agree: This is a SPOT ON post. Except the Harvin part, 16 games and 16 games completed. MVP 2014.
Oh, and Maybe BeastMode, CM might get some 'action' this year.
Surprise, CM has two (2+) 100+ yard rushing games this season.

I voted Seattle will rePETE.

Similar to last year I see SF as our biggest hurdle to overcome. NO and GB does not have a D to carry them the distance. The Panthers won't have enough O to get them there.Sea>SF from the FO down.
We lost a little in FA, as expected but this team's red shirted players from last years draft will get their chance to reload.
Go Seahawks.

OP opened a thread on the Seahawks board with a link to this. Might have something to do it.

Plan on doing it for all teams. Yes, it skews things, but I wanted to be fair and have most opportunity for homers to be more objective. This is why I made the poll public. One can take Seahawks votes or Niners votes for what they are worth. There are some objective people who would vote for repeat and some of them may be Seahawks fans. Not all either way.

BTW, you don't have to vote for the losing to be objective as a Seahawks fan - but I can't avoid you being looked as one if you vote repeat.

Not sure if picking your to team to repeat is being a homer, especially when the team is young and still loaded with talent, but your right about there being lots of Seahawks fans on this board. Also doesn't Vegas have the Seahawks as the favorite to win the next Superbowl. I suggest that Seahawknfans are not the ones being homers here.

It's pretty rare for that to happen. Even less so now that every QB and their momma tosses for 4k yards a season now. The Hawks had a great season, and will continue to have a solid team, but we've seen plenty of Super Bowl hangovers before.

I think if the Seahawks had run into the packers in the playoffs last year, they would've lost. I think the packers are the one team that can match up against the Seahawks.

Actually the Seahawks match up nicely against teams like the Packers ( Broncos, Saints and Pats for example), it's the teams that play the same brand of football that match up better...like the 49ers.
