Hey Man Nice Shot spoke to my teenage angst and pent up anger.

Take A Picture spoke to my guilt of letting down my parents down from time to time.

Mission accomplished Filter!!!
He was the guitarist for Nine inch nails during Broken. That's peak teenage angst and pent up anger imo.

Downward spiral was amazing...but really..if that album dropped today, it would be hailed as the best album of the year. Aside from the swifty stuff of course.

Reznor was ahead of his time. So much talent in the 90s but so little now.

Trent Reznor at first seems pretty simple. Head like a Hole. But because of that song's popularity, about a third of his singles are pretty political and one album in particular stands out: yearzero. Its a 'digital hardcore' album which is made up non-sense and its an album written in 2007 about the dystopian future of 2022 where the Patriot Act is out of control and greed and power are the only things that matter. The song Suvivalism is that albums Head Like a Hole and its kinda rock, kinda rap, and kinda just noise. So its his best song imo.
