It was good but John Wick is better.

I liked both John Wick movies, but I think the story in the Accountant is pretty strong to go along with the action scenes. Let's face it, there isn't much of a story to the Wick movies.

Well they did kill his dog which is a good reason to kill all those bastards. It is a feel good movie.

I'm digging up a two year old thread because I finally saw this film.

The Accountant is much better than I thought it would be... it's a pretty solid action film when one is in the mood for an entertaining popcorn flick. Someone recommended it to me because they knew I enjoyed both John Wick and The Equalizer.

Sure, some of the dialog and acting is questionable, especially by Anna Kendrick (the film's damsel in distress)... but overall it's a fun couple hours of brain candy.

If there was a fight between the characters John Wick, The Equalizer, and The Accountant..... who would win? Hehe.

The Accountant was pretty good because it had a decent story, featured an autistic savant killing machine, and also had Jon Bernthal, who is the Punisher.

While the Equalizer is all about precision and attention to detail, I think the Accountant takes him because he's just smarter.

Now, John Wick beats either of them, because he is just a force of nature when it comes to killing things. The better question is if you throw the Punisher in there with this group. I would probably give Wick the advantage because of the resources of the Continental.

Still, all good action movies.

i hope john wick 3 goes balls to the walls ridiculous. the first caught an unexpected popularity and they made a shitty sequel. the fact they're making it a third means there was enough carry over from the firsts following. they need the third to be crazy, hell Nick Cage should make a cameo in it, include it in the Mandy-verse if they want to.

John Wick works because it doesn't try to be more than a blood and gore shoot-em-up flick. IMO it's not that much different than how Schwarzenegger's Commando was a good movie; a few decent one liners here and there with a bunch of shooting between.

The Accountant was good, I'm not a Ben Affleck fan, but he did play a great role as an Autistic adult whacking people.


A great movie to see is with his EX Jennifer Garner in Peppermint

A 50 something year old Halle Berry is better than a 30 something Anna Kendrick any day.

Anna is a smoking hottie from the waist up. Below that she is so knock kneed it looks like her hips have been broken.

You are thinking of John Wick 1 and 2. The Russian that stole the car was Theon Greyjoy from GoT. Leader of the guild (Continental branch) is another great character actor, also in GoT. Common was the assassin in JW2 that he stabs on the train.

Commando has to be mid 80s.

He wasn't 100% clear but I assume he was referring to her role in "Commando", since Alyssa did not appear in either John Wick film.

I saw this in the theatre and really enjoyed it. Very good.
