1 year though. Gonna suck again next offseason.

Then again, I won’t lose much sleep if the Red Sox are in minor turmoil, the buncha cheaters.
the funny thing is, as SOON as houston got caught, we all knew what cora brought here with him. just a matter of time.

it tells me theyre working on a long term deal.
That’s hopeful. He didn’t have to accept arbitration, but otherwise could’ve entered free agency. Perhaps seeing the new landscape the last two off seasons where expensive UFAs just sat and sat made Betts think twice.

They avoided arb by making a deal. He can't be a FA until 2021.

btw

my MAN!

hows things? big things in the bronx next year.

Hopefully.

And nice to see your boys aren't going the cheap route as rumors indicated.

Summers are always better when the Sox and Yanks are both powerhouses.

He had the power to reject arbitration though and then enter free agency. And it’s moot for next year, since he’s a UFA if Boston can’t sign him to another contract.

I think he realized it was going to be hard to sell those $15 beers with Mookie gone.
They probably sent special team consultant Big Papi in JH's office with a pair of pliers and a gag to effect an "attitude adjustment"
