screw that!!! It looks eery as hell. Like Wade said, we see ancient ruins with vegetation growing up through them all the time and don't think twice about it, but to see a modern city completely abandoned and vegetation taking over apartment complexes, malls, asphalt streets, etc is just too close to home. Spooky.

Seriously, I am fascinated with modern ruin hunting. Ghost towns, abandoned theme parks etc. I love this shit.

A city looks a little different when it is abandoned in the course of 5 hours when compared to a city that falls on bad times and becomes abandoned over a decade.

I have been to east St. Lou BTW but didn't really explore much.

Glenn Echo Park is really cool.
