Nadal has nothing more to prove but he has my blessing for the record break at RG. Clay is not the easiest surface to win on as you age by any means. The high level of physical endurance falls of with age
Nadal winning Rome is a good sign.
How would you describe her backhand?I remember Steffi blanking Natalia zvereva in the FO finals. In ‘88 took 32 mins. If Graf had a one handed topspin backhand she would have been able to dominate the game more ruthlessly.
Zvereva won like 4 points the entire match lolI remember Steffi blanking Natalia zvereva in the FO finals. In ‘88 took 32 mins. If Graf had a one handed topspin backhand she would have been able to dominate the game more ruthlessly.
It was a slice that went deep into her opponent’s court, but she used it to set up her deadly forehand. Against double handers with heavy topspin like Seles it was a liability with it’s reverse spin if it landed short. How would you describe her backhand?
Didn't she also use a slice with her forehand too?It was a slice that went deep into her opponent’s court, but she used it to set up her deadly forehand. Against double handers with heavy topspin like Seles it was a liability with it’s reverse spin if it landed short.
Wish she had married Sampras and not Agassi
I think she could hit that shot but didn’t use it much. Her forehand was a bit of flattening shot. Not the heavy topspin that a lot of her peers especially the Spaniards used like Arantxa Sanchez.Didn't she also use a slice with her forehand too?
