Don't be a jabroni.
Ahh...the team that essentially started the skid back in Dec. Down 3 goals, win 4-3 in OT, they weren't even down the hallways yet and were jerking each other off thinking how awesome they are. And here we are.
The recent wins have helped, Kings are getting some distance between WC2 and that pack that's bunched up but still trail the Oilers by 3 points for PD3. Oilers won against the Dogs last night so AZ didn't do LA any favors. Bottom line is the Kings are in crunch time and thw opponent in front of them doesn't matter - just win the games.
That said, this smells like one of those trap games. The BJs are awful - dead last in the EC and 4th worst in the league - but these are the types of games the Kings tend to play down to. Add in that brutal home record (9-9-6. How TF do you lose 15 of 24 home games?) and game is set to mess their little run up.
I sure hope not but we know this team all too well, next 2 games are against Nashville and Anaheim. All 3 are winnable IMO, I just hope they don't go licking their dicks this time like they did after that December BJ game leading to this. Hopefully lesson learned.
Expecting Rittich in net again. Dunno and Moore with 1 each, guys who have been cold have been scoring so let's keep that trend moving. Turcotte with his second NHL goal.
Let's Go Kings!
