How fucking lucky can NJ get!? In just the last SIX draft years (including this one), they've drafted #1 overall TWICE, #2 overall, #4 overall and #7 overall.

It's like watching the fucking Pens of the early 2000's all over again. WTF!?! This might as well be Whitney, Fleury, Crosby, Malkin and Staal all the fuck over again, except with another rival of ours...

If we wanted any kind of balance in the lottery, they shouldn't have even been eligible to move up in this one. It's fucking absurd. And of course it's all at our expense. We should've at least had #4, but instead drop to #5.

First mock draft i looked at has us taking Nemec and Savoie going to Columbus with pick 6

Just take the best player available. There are too many holes to fill with one draft pick. Someone who can eventually score more than 30 goals would be a pleasant change.

I'd be OK with Nemec or Jiricek instead of Savoie. Top pair RHD are tough to find, so that's good positional value to have at the top of the draft. Nice thing is, they should be able to get 1 of those 3. Wright, Cooley, and Slafkovsky will probably be gone, meaning 2 of the other 3 should still be there.

Somehow Florida was about 2 minutes shy of being down 3 games to 1 and now they are up 3 games to 2 after being down 0-3 in game 5 and scoring 5 unanswered goals. Pretty wild shit here.

To connect this with Philly, our boy Giroux had a goal, an assist and was +3 in this game.
