No plays during diff time than Europe and when international play is typically done. Plus not enough money to sign big names and keep them. Domestic quality would have to increase a lot as well as US players would make majority of roster.

Youd have to stop players from going to college and start them in youth academies at a younger age.

Problem is they go to college and come at between 22-24. 4 yrs of valuable time that could have been spent with the first squad or academy.

MLS is a good retirement league and gives spots to USMNT players that cant hack it over in Europe.

Usually don't watch MLS games but Sounders vs. Timbers this Sunday should be a doozy, best rivalry and fans in the MLS. Was looking at plane tickets but $700 ain't worth it.

I watch Revolution games and don't mind watching the MLS. I prefer to watch the EPL, but who doesn't?

I prefer to watch everything over the MLS
Agree except for La Liga unless it's Barca, Real, or Atletico playing each other

MLS has more parity and some really dumb mistakes that makes the games fun to watch

The MLS isn't there yet, but I'm confident in 10 years the gap between the EPL and the MLS will be a lot smaller.
You think? We'd have to close the gap in domestic players first plus I think the difference in time the MLS and Europe plays hurts us

This also....and we need to start getting Europe players to come here in their prime.....not at the end of their career.

It was nice to see Toronto get that Italian player in the middle of his prime. Hopefully that is the start of a trend

I think the MLS season structure/schedule will change. I think by 2025 the league will have 24-30 teams and will have recruited more European stars. How far it's come since I was a little kid is crazy and I expect it to keep growing in popularity.

That'd be awesome, how Phx doesn't have a team I don't understand. Tons of mexicans here plus an indoor stadium to combat the heat. Seems like a no brainer.

The indoor stadium would be needed if they kept the same season schedule. If they changed it August through May the Southern States would be prime candidates. I want Miami to get a team and for Ronaldo to come play for them. That would be really sweet.

Funny story

I actually went to a local bar to see the Timbers vs. Whitecaps game on Sunday night. The place was wall to wall Cowboy fans and I had the guts to ask them to change one channel to the Timbers game. I'm lucky I got out out of there alive after they lost since I was the only one that was in there watching soccer.

Dallas/Seattle Leg 2 and Columbus/Montreal Leg 2 were both incredible games.
