But seriously, sure they are in contention or even a lock for a January 1 six bowl bid. They've done that many times. The one contest that they haven't yet participated in still eludes the program. And they never will with the current format as the format changes next year.

I loved Manny's high risk high reward defense. I imagine he is taking some of his assistants. The defense was the fun part of watching the team the last couple of years.

Once again, Penn State and that incestuous shithole of a place, Happy Valley (where I spent 8 years of my life as a graduate student) is in the middle of another scandal. This time the medical treatment of players is the tip of the proverbial iceberg! If the details of the article have any truth to them, this could be a Pandora's box that "could" lead to potential NCAA sanctioning, maybe!
