For awhike there,I was on the CW train, but the thinking of the haul we could have gotten andadding more weapons for JF,I too would of liked to see where we would gotten....

Then after looking at JFs 4th qtr stats this past season,I was all for CW again........

As for the Steelers, its up in the air for me,JF may be able to out play Wilson for that starting job.
They got some tough defenses in the AFC North to face.......

Ps,we could use another regular on this board......stick around.
Fields is destined to be a cocktease, at best. I'm pretty sure that with a good team around JF, at some point we would have made a decent run into the playoffs. I am also pretty damn sure that we would have never won a Super Bowl.

Willing to risk it for the reset and the higher ceiling of CW.

well, Rodgers should have been a Viqueen this year based on the Farve copy, so maybe things actually do change.

Did i read right that Williams threw 7 straight picks in 7 on 7?

Is that possible? Lol

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

From our NBC local affiliate. Some obvious growing pains. (Get 'em out of the way now.)

Williams and the Bears' offense struggled in both 7-on-7 work and an 11-on-11 red zone period, during which the rookie quarterback completed just four passes while being "sacked" five times.

Williams had multiple completions to running back D'Andre Swift during the 11-on-11 period. He also linked up with tight end Gerald Everett once.

But Williams held onto the ball too long and had numerous passes broken up by a secondary that blanketed DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, Everett, Tyler Scott, and Dante Pettis.

Our local ESPN guys (who were @ otas) said that on 1 play he ran around for 7 seconds.
At least the Bears OL is used to blocking for 7 seconds

And then having everyone say how shitty they are after the QB gets sacked holding onto the ball for 7.1 seconds

So they won't be caught off guard

I was saying that was a real concern

He held the ball a touch longer than Fields in college.
To be fair Fields was throwing to 3 top 15 WRs and still held the ball that long so while i agree Caleb needs work on that he's at least got plausible room to improve

If you're throwing to Wilson, Olave and JSN and still take 3.5 seconds to pass that should've been our first clue lol
