Really like the additions of Samuel and Coleman for them. Don’t see MVS having much impact at all, other than being a professional who will do what’s asked of him.

Shakir isn’t an all out burner, but I think he’s capable of being more of a weapon than he has been. Like his opportunity to take a big step forward with his career this year.

I’m not sure what to think of Claypool. Not much invested in him. Give his all or go back to Canada pretty much.

Shakir will start off as the number one... it is his job to lose...
I would agree, but Diggs was gone last year and Shakir's numbers werent that impressive. All things considered, the Bills as a whole team didnt get going until mid-season.

Three of those guys with 600 yards and none with 1000.

2000-2400 receiving yards overall to WRs, 1200-1500 to TEs, 600-800 to RBs.

A lot like KC the last couple of years.

Kincaid will probably act as the WR1... But Shakir has to step up... he is their best WR option...

none with a 1K?? that sounds impossible in a 17 game season with an elite QB... unless you dont think he will be elite...

This is year 3 for Shakir, which some analysts point to as the "breakout" year.

My first takeaway is that MVS should beat out Claypool. MVS in cold weather with a franchise QB....thats a known commodity imo. Only scores more than 3 TDs in a season once.

Coleman as an X receiver...eh. Him and Samuel are the ones to watch, though. Curtis Samuel is probably the one I'd bank on.
Curtis Samuel is who I think will lead the pack, but as mentioned this WR corp seems similar to the Chiefs and have limited FF appeal.

But if he breaks out would it be because he is a third year player or because he has the opportunity to??
Good question.
My leash is short if i dont have them in dynasty, meaning that if he hasnt made a statement after 2 seasons, he probably wont.

Admittedly, i'd be more patient (at least 1 more year) if i had him in dynasty.

I think this very close to accurate. ... with no alpha, they spread the wealth (mimic KC and GB) - worked for them.

Diggs caught 107 balls last year.

After the middle of October, he had zero 100 yard games. Shakir had two.

Diggs wasn't gone last year, he still led the team in targets by a large margin. The Bills improvement in the 2nd half of the season at least partially came from the new OC calling plays to spread the ball around more instead of force-feeding Diggs.

I don't expect anyone to stand out as a #1 target to start the season behind likely Kincaid as the top target. That will sort itself out between Shakir, Coleman, and Samuel as the season progresses. There are other names in the mix beyond the list in the first post: Mack Hollins, Quintez Cephus, Justin Shorter, Tyrell Shavers, Bryan Thompson, Xavier Johnson. Most will fall by the wayside; Bills are really inviting a lot of guys to camp to sort out the back end of the WR room.

i never gave "third year" or any other predictory theory based on other players in their careers any thought... it tries too hard to group players into the same boat...

when it all always comes down to whether they have the opportunity to shine, and if they take advantage of their opportunity...

I love Shakir's opportunity... it is the clear best he has ever had in his career... and he is the PROJECTED WR1... if he can take advantage of his opportunity, he will easily be at the very worst a Fantasy WR2,,,

Hell, when Diggs came to the Bills did anyone in their wildest dreams think he would be a top 5 WR?? he played second fiddle in Minnesota's offense...

Just based on talent and the comp to KC, Kincaid does seem like he should be the #1. I just dont love targeting TEs generally.

Is this the first time Samuel has had a franchise QB?

I think Kincaid leads the team in receptions no matter what.

I think Shakir is the the Y receiver, he's not an X, he just ain't, that's not his game. Which means he's basically the same as he was.

Many if not most, 3 wide sets will see Kincaid as the Z or slot

Leaving Samuel/Coleman as the X, and the 'loser' as the Z when they don't use Kincaid.

But does it matter? Allen fed Beasley more targets than anyone for awhile there, and he was the Z.

MVS, Mack Hollins, Clypool.. they're the backups, and at least one of them won't make the team.

Kincaid is the only safe fantasy bet. Assuming Coleman wins a starting gig in camp, he'd be next, followed by Shakir.

I would agree with whomever earlier said there's probably a couple of 6-800 yard guys, no 1000yd guy... unless it's Kincaid

Jumped the gun there.
All the more reason to keep an eye on this.
