When a writer introduces a weapon or something that can kill and erase a soul from existence and a character that people like gets killed can you manipulate reality and bring this character back or is just to late? I know comic book deaths are usually not taken seriously since characters come back from the dead a lot but this comic book series was continuing a tv show and the character was killed in the tv series and was brought back in the comic books and then got killed again.

Sandersons First Law

Not sci fi or comics, he's a Fantasy writer. Basically a writer can do whatever the fuck they want. But the reader only accepts it if it's not bullshit pulled out of a hat. As long as the writer can explain why something happens, and it is consistent, go for it. Preferably if the "magic" is explained before, not after its used.

All I know is that the writer didn't really give a good effort so far in explaining why this character was killed off except something about raising the stakes which doesn't make sense cause he already introduced a new enemy that can't be destroyed that easily anyway in the first issue of Season 10 that the main characters will be facing sometime down the road.

The more beloved a character is, the greater the bullshit the fans will allow to bring them back.

The problem is there's really no guarantee this character will be back this season and so far it doesn't look like we will be getting a season 11 so really this whole season seems to be a waste of time with too many one shots, introducing so many new characters and trying to develop boring useless characters to make them likable. Don't see how all of this will affect the outcome of this season.
