Ok, I'm getting this one.. From the company that created Fallout New Vegas. this looks like another creation in the spirit or Baldurs Gate II and Icewind Dale... It's gotten great reviews

Heh, wondered who else would get this game. I was playing it a LOT until Witcher 3 dropped.

Yeah it's not bad at all. definitely a trip down memory lane. I'm really enjoying even when I get my butt kicked.

My concerns around Witcher is that it got twitchy ala console. Is it that good.

It's pretty damned good. Even sub-quests are involving and immerse you in the world. I don't think it's any more 'twitchy' than say Mass Effect or other combat RPG's.

Not at all. Just like the Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale games.

It's very strategic as you can coordinate your move after each turn. Sometimes you can let characters just keep playing or change what a specific character can do. Like Priests. Got to keep them busy keeping the other characters upright.

The battles against groups and bosses you are under powered against can be quite frustrating and challenging.

I like it.

My bad, I was referring to Witcher 3.

So yeah, this is most definitely Baldur Gate/Icewind Dale 3... Excellent.. I'm admit I scan through much of the reading but still like the basic story line. Combat is very nice even if I got my butt kicked across the room earlier on. Now my Ranger is deadly with his bow of death, my warrior is encased in full armored plate with his enchanted two-handed broadsword and my wizard and priest deal death and health from afar.

Maybe I will pick up Witcher 3 afterwards but then there is Fallout 4 calling to me.
