Just changed the oil in my pickup. 5W20.
Did it myself because I used synthetic with the upgraded filter both rated at 15,000 miles.
The oil change places just bend you over for that.
It wasn't cheap even doing it myself. 6qts and filter=$60
All done now though and wont have to worry about it for a couple of years.

Had to re-charge the wifes A/C in her Honda Accord again.
Did it last year and lasted, well, until it got hot this year.
Used that do it yourself charging shit I bought last year, had the gauge and only needed the refrigerant.
$20 and I did hers, topped off mine, and still have some for later if it doesn't leak out of the can.

My son came up to visit last weekend and he brought a winch he had bought and wanted to install it on his Ford Raptor. Kind of tough but we got it all hooked up in about 4 hours.

Had to remove the skid plate to attach the mounting bracket.

Then mounted the winch to that. Tight fit but everything went smooth

Then had to put the skid plate back on and the tow hooks back on.

Had to go get some better washers than what came with it to mount the winch to the bracket, but only cost $2.00 and 15 minutes.

Ok, daughters car wouldn't start.
I jumped it and it turned right over.
So I take it up to Advanced Auto Parts and have them test it, and sure enough it's the battery and not anything else. Buy the battery and they install it right there.
It's so fucking convenient.
I had this done on my truck about a year ago. Advanced is the only place I ever go now.

Just my :2cents: but Advanced seems to beat the shit out of Auto Zone, O'Reilys, and Pep Boys every day for service and know how.

Agreed. Becoming buds with the guys at AA has saved me hundreds. When something ain't right, I go ask their opinion about it first before going to the shop.
