Yeah I'm starting to believe we might actually hang around(not win the division hang around) and be a legit .500 team.

It goes a long way when you finally start winning at home good lord it's about time.

Also, does anyone know what the greatest differential between homers and RBI is?

I highly, highly doubt that Mauer even keeps up his pace and he certainly wont if he doesn't start hitting more dingers but last nights homer got me thinking.

He's on pace for like 97 RBI but only 4 homers lol.

That is pretty cool. Rematch of the '85 World Series, but it finally has some meaning. I'd watch that series.

The hypothetical pace for Mauer is a higher RBI/homer still though.

Then again, Kinsler has one going on as well right now!!

Kinsler and V-mart: 1 home run combined this season (49 combined last year).

The stats are kind of stupid still, and we're almost two months into the season. Tigers are #1 in OBP (.345), #1 in stolen bases, but only 7th in runs. Houston has a .230 BA, .303 OBP but are 3rd in runs, thanks largely to having a league-leading 62 homers. The Tigers are tied for 10th with 36. When did the Tigers become "small ball"? I guess there's still something to be said for Earl Weaver's favorite play.

Allen almost blew that game 3.. two walks, bases loaded.. then a pop up and nice strikeout luckily he found the strike zone.
