So, I tried the Angel's Envy in a snifter before I headed out. It was really good with a vanilla, nutty flavor. For $45 it's a real bargain.

I stopped over to my friends house where he had some JW 18y Platinum that he didn't like. Needless to say, I am now at home on my second glass. This stuff is great with a sweet start that moves into that smokey oak finish.

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA at Clancys in downtown Long Beach. It's different than beer I usually drink but quite good.

Visiting the inlaws for the weekend and their local Kroger has a pick your own 6 pack for $9.97. Before I saw that, I was picking up SN Hoptimum which they were selling for $10.99 for a 4 pack. Noticed 4 of them in the cooler for the pick your own, so of course I went that route. Save a dollar and get 2 free beers! Went ahead and got another pick your own of some other varieties of IPAs I dont have around my house. I will definitely check back before we leave to see if they are dumb enough to put more of them in that cooler and even if not, I'll probably build another 6 pack or two.

The Hoptimum was good.

Terrapin has a chocolate peanut butter porter (Liquid Bliss) as well. I haven't had the DuClaw one, but the Terrapin one was delicious.
