2006 or 2015?

An interesting debate to be had here. Both were a little reliant on the outside shot, and there's certainly no doubt which was more explosive. I graduated in 2006 so perhaps I'm a little biased...

Some vintage highlights to refresh your memory:

Looking up the stats, I was surprised at how close the numbers are. Curry and Klay score a little more, but have slightly lower rebounds and assists. But what tips the scales for the current back court, in my opinion, is how much better they shoot, especially since, as you put it they are reliant on the outside shot:
Curry FG 47.9%, 3pt 42.2% , FT 91.4%;
Thompson 46.2%, 43.0%, 88.0%;
Davis 38.9%, 31.5%, 67.5%;
Richardson 44.6%, 38.4%, 67.3%.

And the free throw line, wow, both 2006 guys under 70%, that is inexcusable for guards.

I think there is a doubt. You show a video of Richardson going for 44, but klay has gone for 52 this season, and Curry for 51.
