Funny how Ira had the same exact thoughts as every single Heat fan in the world except Paolo

You should feel embarrassed to want to speak for “ every heat fan” There is nothing to be proud of when wanting to speak on behalf of the lousiest fan base in sports.

Always funny when analyst/writers/fans want to play the role of coach and GM - none of these people are in the lockerroom during half time or at any point except for pre and post game - none of these people know what the game plan/adjustments are... point being, none of these idiots have a clue whether a play was called by the coaches or not - You can count on a play being called for the most part - sometimes one isnt called , because its just not necessary .. In fact, actually, if you watched the game via the Heat broadcast, you often heard them mention the fact that Spo was calling a play in many situations - often, the problem is the players dont execute the play - but this fan base is too dumb to admit that the players do anything wrong

Ira is dead on. He had 3 timeouts. You use one of them around 3 minutes and run a play. Get a good look. Draw something up. I don't have the same issues as others do with Spoles in here, but them scoring 9 points and then 11 tonight is on him. He has to be far more active in play calling or timeouts.

For the village idiot in here, Spo just confirmed that Wade WANTED to play but the coaching staff held him out

What we all 'witnessed' the last 2 nights was a combination of 3 teams who for the most part looked like garbage and would get destroyed by any top team if they played like that.

Thats what they have said very often - it doesnt mean its true. I have said it before. The Heat is a drama free organization. They often keep quiet about the truth in order to avoid any negative publicity. They will tell the media the nice version of the story just to make it go away.

As per usual, I am sure the coaching staff wanted Diva to play, but as always, he put himself before the team and decided he didnt want to play, especially after costing the team the game the night before - And he decided he would yet again SIT OUT another game for no reason despite the wishes of the coaching staff. But I guess we do have to be thankful Diva SAT OUT last night - we wouldnt have played as well

So let me get this straight. You do like Spoles and you think he is a good coach. But you are sure the same coach and his staff are lying to everyone to cover for one player?

"As a Captain he led this team tonight with his toughness... Him hitting the floor constantly set the tone early and led everybody else." - Coach Spoelstra on Udonis Haslem

UD, our real leader and captain while CB is in recovery mode.

The entire organization is covering for Diva for the sake of avoiding any controversy - truth is the bitch as always puts himself before the team and doesnt want to play

So what you're saying is Spoles is to afraid to call out one particular player? I wonder if Phil Jackson or Pops would have done the same thing.

You claim Spoles is a good coach... and then claim he is afraid to call out a player. You see how those two statements contradict each other a little, right?

Please show me where in my post do I say that Spo is afraid to call out a player? There are features on this message board that allow you to highlight and repost something previously said by another poster. So show me where I say that?

Again, I did not say Spo is afraid to call out one particular player - that is far from what I said. What I said was this organization is not the type to call out or throw guys under the bus in that regard - they arent the type to give the media bulletin board material that might suggest there is a rift within the team.

Therefore, there is no contradiction in my post. Just a lack of reading comprehension on your part. A problem you have had for years.

I can't believe your are debating this with him.

According to Paolo, Wade wants to sit out important games.
According to Paolo, Wade does not want the opportunity to play in the NBA playoffs, which more than likely will be against the team/person he MOST wants to face.

It's absolutely insane.

Under the radar and a small sample size, but Heat forward James Ennis now leads all rookies in free-throw percentage, at .848 (56 of 66)

Via Ira Winderman - finally a worthwhile post from him today

Ill ask you the same I asked the other idiot - where in my post do I even mention who the Heat or any player on the Heat would want to play. But as long as we are on the subject, if for some reason their goal is to face the Cavs in the first round then they just might be asking for an early playoff exit - which isnt that bad of a thing to begin with - brings us closer to the end of Diva Wade era and we can finally spend the money we are currently throwing away with him and roster spot to someone who will fight for it, want it and earn it

Fact?
It's your IMO ridiculous opinion.
For something to be presented as fact, it has to be supported by proof.

Since you aren't a trainer, coach, or anyone in Wades inner circle, you have absolutely nothing as far as fact to support any of your hundreds of claims.

It's a long season. I'm pretty sure most veteran players sit out a game here or there when they physically coukd play.
Last night, I'm pretty sure wasn't one of them.
The man was on air stating the importance of each game and the effort needed from all involved to try to win every one of them.

Maybe swallow your hate whistle and quit calling fouls on the one player who brought this franchise back to national relevance.

I never said who you would prefer to play or not play.

My guess is that realistically the Heat would have loved to avoid the Cavs in round one, but that doesn't appear to be the case....so, Wade has said that his biggest rivalry is playing against James.

I'm sure he would much rather attempt to upset Goliath then sit out games and watch the Cavs play the Bobcats from his couch.

Hornets are in Washington, Brooklyn are at home for Cleveland, & Boston are in MSG.

We'll probably lose but I expect Charlotte & Brooklyn to lose as well

A game or two is okay WITH real injuries - not a quarter of a season with bogus injuries like your boy Diva
