I thought he looked really good last year. Now, that could be because I got him off the waiver wire just before he went nuts (sinister laugh here) but I say he will be a decent RB2 if they dont draft an rb or bring anyone else in. It's not like Donald Brown or Danny Woodhead are going to seriously threaten him and now the coach says he thinks he can be a work horse. me likes what I am hearing.

What are your thoughts and when I say "your" I am talking about you!

5'8 208lbs kinda small to be a work horse back.

I won't target him, but might not hate it if I get stuck with him.

Danny Woodhead is a very real threat to his "workhorse" role. Wouldn't expect anything more than week to week match up flex play, with the occasional big week, quite possibly on your bench

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Woodhead and Oliver are the same size height (5'-8") but Oliver is 8 pounds heavier. I don't buy into "size" as being a factor. (There've been some smaller RB that are tough/durable and there are bigger RB that have been fragile/disappointing.)

I think one issue is Woodhead is 30. Maybe he doesn't have the mileage on him like some backs, but 30 is 30. Whereas Oliver is only 23.

That said, I'm not entirely sold on Oliver only because it seems that the Chargers are up to something. They recently said that Rivers is on the trading block. Kind of surprising since the Bolts are thin at backup QB. Makes me wonder if they want to make a move for AP?

And even if a deal for AP is not in the works, a few mock drafts have the Bolts taking either RB Gordon or Gurley.

This needs to ruminate a little longer.
