That picture was on the cover of SI's 2009 pictures of the year editions, and yes, it is awesome. Have that picture, one of Dayne, one of Camp Randall, and one of Barry, Ball, or Russell, and we should be good to go.

Well, personally, we've seen other banners that were too noisy. We have a lot @ Wisconsin to be thankful for over the last 20 some years.

I think we should use the Clay picture for sure. But after that I would like to see something that will remain prominent far into Badger future.. Like a nice picture of the offensive line. Or an endzone celebration, since the Badgers offense celebrates as a family.

I think those two pictures, with the reflection of the field in Clay's visor and the "Big Ten" on his helmet....and a shot of either the offensive line or a celebration will say it all.

I am going to send UTVol a message. I just want to make sure we have somewhat of a consensus amongst Badgers. I think we all agree the Clay visor shot is awesome.

I don't want to try to fit every other awesome Badger in though, which is kind of why I like putting a TD celebration up in the top right corner or something.

i am totally on board. some great pics. just one question, should it include some pics of the bball and hockey teams as well, there has definitely been some great success there, or are there other boards for that?

Uhhhhh. Well. That's a pretty big question now that I think about it. This is technically under the college football and basketball forum. And hockey is still one of the biggest parts of Badgerland culture. They kept that town alive for decades.

Not to mention...the B1G is pulling its hockey teams in house.

sorry for the flood of pics, but hockey makes for some pretty fuckin awesome visuals, and you could argue that the hockey team is the most successful of all the team sports at wisconsin.

Here's the thing. What we're really known for in both major sports is our homefield advantage, and I love Camp Randall and the Kohl Center. We could be really generic and just go Camp Randall on the left, Kohl Center on the right, and Bucky doing pushups or Clay visor shot kind of in the center somewhere. Kohl Center would cover hockey and basketball. Otherwise...I did find a decent goalie mask shot, too.

We could do Clay visor on the left, hockey mask right, Jordan Taylor action shot somewhere in the middle?

Well, I'm actually dead set against NOT including something hockey now. If I were in Madison I'd go to every hockey game, to be honest.

why not have the Visor pic as the background layout of the banner. Then the other photos within the visor. like it's the reflection.
