He does a lot of softer acoustic stuff too, and a lot of his songs are as country as it gets. He's got solo albums, albums with The Cardinals, and albums with Whiskeytown. It's all good, he's one of the best songwriters of our generation IMO. You might like Ryan Bingham and Ray Lamontagne too.
