I don't know, last I heard, the DOJ was stonewalling Congress' request for documents (there was a Feb. 9th deadline). I've also heard that Boehner was asking the investigating committee to back off under pressure from the FBI & the White House, but I don't know if that holds any water.

That entire deal stinks. Our peeps have been killed with those guns. I, for one, think the entire episode just is too odiferous to not have been something more involved...and sinister. Why SO many great weapons for just a sting? Something isn't right.

If Obama weren't the antiChrist, he would've cleaned house on this ordeal. Can you f'ing imagine if this happened under a Republican administration?? It'd be like Iran-Contra!

Not an answer. We don't crucify our government for trying to curb illegalities. No, it didn't work out. Some of the dead were innocent and others were guilty of involvement in the drug trade. The innocent are not a major factor in this episode, but an unfortunate consequence of an attempt to do achieve something worthwhile.

I would suspect that your statement is an attempt to find anything and any way to attack the president.

this was all a scheme and and yes Holder and even the President should be held to the fire! The ATF has fucked up over and over Rubyridge, Waco and now this. The ATF IMO needs to go a fucking waste of good tax dollars.

I'm sure you have investigated this failed operation and concluded that it was just an "unfortunate" mishap, but do you not find the multiple testimonies of federal agents suspicious?

"Not an answer," was my answer to your remark about my post. You didn't have to mention Obama, I can read between the lines.

I don't anything about ads that have appeared in this forum. Most of the ads that I receive are about websites that I've visited recently and I don't think they would appear on your version of Hoopla.

I haven't really investigated the failed operation that much. I can't fault people for attempting to do something that is deemed worthwhile. Initiative and creativity are still held in high esteem, at least it was the last time I looked.

As for multiple testimonies of federal agents or anyone for that matter, it happens all the time. Having worked in business for about 40 years, you would be surprised (or maybe not) about hearing 4 different versions of what happened from 4 different people.
