Hey Raptor, seriously, welcome to the politics forum. Don't be afraid to say what you want and if anyone gets all butthurt about something you said it's not your problem. Politics, like hockey, isn't for those afraid to get punched.

Did you have it for lunch? That would make you cooler.

Sorry, I doubt anyone here gets that unless they listen to The Ticket here in Dallas or realize what a huge d-bag CJ Wilson is.

lol, think so? Unions have been going downhill in membership for what, 30+ years? and the recent happenings and trends only indicate that will continue. the general public is no longer in the dark about what truly goes on in a union.

I have college buddies that laugh about the whole scenario, they aren't strong or into the FORCED teachers union bs, they just enjoy their life. They put in some extra time the first few years to tweak their lesson plans, tests, etc. and now they do nothing outside of school....... Good thing the Cowboys suck!
I think we're gonna sign Randy Moss and get Terrell Owens back. Then we'll be America's bad ass team. Maybe add Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth and we be the double bad ass team.

Oh I know I was in the minority. Some of them use to come to me and ask to steal my lesson plans. I put it on the computer in a place that anyone from the faculty could copy it. I also made up all the homework assignments for them, printed tests for them and the study guides. For all of that I got nothing except the respect of the 8th grade teachers, because my kids knew the basics of American History which I taught along with Texas History.

Yup, they are the morning show. I'm a fan of them with Gordo, then Norm, then Bob and Dan, and finally the hard line. Can't listen to the late night stuff or weekend crap.

anti-union stuff almost done, you say? BS I said. Looks like the biggest litmus test for anti-union sentiment is still Wisconsin's Governor Walker and the recall vote by unions.

Poll: Wisconsin's Walker to survive union recall drive | Washington Examiner

So they appear to be throwing everything they can at Walker, but things are turning around like he said they would with the contract changes he put in place, and the non-union people are seeing how well it has worked. Next up, roll the plan out to the rest of America.

I'm not in a union. But just thought I'd mention. Ohio's governor and state legislature tried the same thing that was done in Wisconsin. Passed it despite all the protests. But the unions got enough signatures to force a referendum on the issue, and the voters blew it clean out of the water. Our Gov's butt is still sore from that one.

So I'm not so sure that unions are "finished" in this country. Wisconsin may prove to be an anomaly, not the start of a trend.

Wisconsin will be the poster for boy for "bust unions and cut costs" if they turn a surplus.
