Well here's My own personal drunken rant. I am still in belief that all of our problems began back during the Reagan years. And his wonderful free trade agreement. I believe the only way you can turn this country around Is to bite the bullet. As it is for the company I work for 70% of our sales has become overseas. Now where do you think they are getting all this money from. From Americans overspending and buying foreign products. So my theory is until Americans quit trying to keep up with the Joneses. And start buying American again there will be a one-way money flow.
After all if no one's buying their product what's the sense in making it. By the way all those companies that left overseas for the cheaper labor. Where do you think they'll go then?
Now before y'all start whining because this is where you have to bite the bullet. Anything you buy foreign products. Anything American products cost so much. I like my foreign beer my three new video games a year blah blah blah.
I didn't say it was perfect it was just a thought.

There are reasons for these problems. America was kicking ass to such an awesome degree in the 80s and 90s that the entire world wanted to put their money here. That made the US dollar so valuable that it became very expensive for other countries to buy our products and very cheap for us to have shit made overseas. That's just what happens.

Economics has a way of evening things. Money finds value when there's acceptable safety. That's why gov't intervention is such a bitch - it prevents the natural flow of money and creates problems. If we would have put in tariffs to protect our interests, it would have really fucked up everything.
