We can't have a right-wing religious nut opposing Obama in November if we want to rid him of the White House. Thus, Santorum's wacky sayings needs to be pointed out.

You're right, we are fucked.

No need getting worked up. He's just the flavor of the month. Poor Pawlenty. He dropped out way too soon. He could have been the front runner, then bottom feeder, then back to miracle front runner by now with the way a faction of the GOP are embarrassingly changing their minds depending on the time of day.

Well it looks like Palin and the other dipshit right-wingers are getting their conservative.
Poll: Rick Santorum takes slight lead in GOP race - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Hopefully, the people on the right and left coasts know what's up or we have no chance getting Obie out of the WH.

I agree with this. I really liked Ron Paul, but as he's seemingly out of it, it's one of these two. I think Newt has some great ideas, the guys a genius, but I think Romney's going to get the nod in the end. I'm more of a conservative, but Romney's liberal enough to get independent votes and put up a fight.

Still wish Mitch Daniels was running.

Rick won't win. Now that he is pulling towards the top, someone will go after him and expose some major dirt and then he is long gone.

The problem with the hard liners are that they have something in their history that goes 100% against that. So they get the hardline followers on their side, but all it takes is one "he did WHAT" to get them all pissed off and jumping ship.

On the divorce issue, I truly do believe that waiting until marriage helps couples out and would lower the divorce rate, although I am most likely biased a bit due to my religion. I don't see Santorum having a shot at winning the GOP, either way. It's down to Newt/Romney, most likely Romney.

However, whether he wanted to or not, he wouldn't be able to make it illegal to have sex before marriage. Let's stick to the issues that matter: the economy, the drug cartels, foreign policy, patriot act, etc.

it would make Obama's peoples' jobs a lot easier if Santorum gets the nod.

~Rick Santorum, comparing homosexuality to being black.

^^^ This is the teaching of Evangelicals

7. “One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country. It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. [Sex] is supposed to be within marriage. It’s supposed to be for purposes that are yes, conjugal…but also procreative. That’s the perfect way that a sexual union should happen…This is special and it needs to be seen as special.”
~Rick Santorum, opposing contraception and frighteningly suggesting that he would make pre-marital sex illegal.

Yeah, I can't fuck you or live with you until we're married. This is the quickest way to divorce.

17. “What we should be teaching are the problems and holes and I think there are legitimate problems and holes in the theory of evolution. And what we need to do is to present those fairly from a scientific point of view. And we should lay out areas in which the evidence supports evolution and the areas in the evidence that does not.”
~Rick Santorum, claiming that evolution theory isn’t accurate.

the list goes on...
Hey bone, I agree with you most of the time. But look at the big picture...... Any of the above is better than dealing with 4 more years of the community organizer level of quality for a president..... These are all social issues. People right now don't give a fuck about social issues which is what libtards are hoping for. They don't want to focus on jobs, the economy, and the debt - because their record is glaringly bad.

Bottom line, I'll be voting for whoever the conservative candidate is over bho.

Don't worry, it's going to be Mitt.......... We are just going to have to sit thru watching 3 people flush their money down the drain for a little while longer.

Not so sure it will be Mitt. If the convention is brokered, than none of the above might be the winner.

A politician should never let their personal beliefs interfere with what is right for their constituency; you are not elected to impart personal belief into law, you are elected to represent the people that elected you.

As I stated before, Corky Thatcher would be better than Obama- but that's not the point.

The point is we'll have 4 more years of Obama if Santorum is the GOP candidate.

There is not a chance in hell Rick Santorum will win the Independent vote over Obama, and that's what it's gonna take to win.

My concern is: Romney seems to be the only GOP candidate who has a shot at defeating Obama and the right-wingers are trying to push candidates who don't.
