Default OU could possibly break the plays per game record.

OU football has components to break plays-per-game record | NewsOK.com

Going into the BCS National Championship, media around the country dubbed Oregon's offense the Ferrari Testarossa of college football.

But in reality, no hurry-up team went faster last season than Oklahoma.

The Sooners averaged a whopping 87 plays per game. Way more than Oregon's 79. And in fact, an average of six more than any other team in the country.

Yeah they could

they were ahead of Oregon because Oregon fumbles a lot.

of course Oklahoma meanwhile had Landry Jones throwing picks

Barely 2 more than the average QB, but he still had over 4700 yards passing with 38 TDs. Brandon Weed of Okie State actually had more INTs with less yards and TDs.

Gym Tan Landry's only problem is that he isn't Sam Bradford. He doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves.

I think Landry will get a lot of credit this year though. Bradford has been gone two years now and this Landry's team. He has the players around him, so all he has to do is make it work.

he actually did throw less picks than I thought he did, seems like he only throws them in close games.

Weeden threw picks all over the place in that Oklahoma game

It seems Landry has a confidence issue. He was fine until he made a mistake, then he let it get in his head and seemed to make more mistakes.

Yeah he kind of does, he plays great when they have a lead but when the game is close or they're trailing Landry Jones just seems to collapse, the Oklahoma State game late in the year may show that things have changed, but it also might just show that Oklahoma State can't play defense or beat Oklahoma.
