Can Ryan Miller Get 30 Wins This Season To Make It 7 In A Row?

Sabres have played 51 games coming into tonight's games against the Isles, and Miller only has 13 wins so far.

Miller will need to pick up 17 more wins in the last 31 games in order to make it 7 straight seasons with 30 or more wins. That means the Sabres need to go at least 17-14 the rest of the way to make this happen, and that Miller plays the majority of the remaining games.

While there is always a possibility of this happening, I really don't see it happening. Miller has had a decent career in Buffalo over the years, but this season he really shit the bed.

What say you, if you care?

That's a very, very tough feat considering the state the team is in currently. I think he COULD certainly do it...and it wouldn't really surprise me if he did. But 13 and we're into the last few months of the season? That's a lotta wins.

I'd say his chances would improve to 70-30 if Roy suffers a Season ending injury tonight against the Isles.

The only way I see him getting 30 wins is to be traded to the Kings for Bernier and Brown, then he gets a start and a shutout and wrestles the job away from Quick.

So I'm going with the under on this one.

I think I think Penner should be in the deal instead of Brown. It would even the money out & Penner would be off the books at the end of the year.

I was under the impression no team is dumb enough to think Penner can turn it around anymore, therefore he is untradable.

Miller belongs in SoCal, it's only a matter of time.

Only two problems with that logic. Quick isn't going anywhere & Hiller has some time left on his deal.

Miller makes 6.2 million which is a big problem for the Kings & Ducks because they already have plenty of high priced talent on their rosters.
