lapierre has had 6 fights this year - and even though he doesn't win many, he shows up.

last night, the team was flat (understatement), Detroit has just scored, and lapierre was the one who fought an Alligator to try to get things going. An Alligator who had kicked the shit out him earlier this season, btw.

Lappy and Burrows may have been shitheads in the past, but I'm pretty proud to have both of them on my team the way they currently play the game. (kesler too, for that matter)

I am a firm believer that players can change their reputation but half a season doesn't erase the past. It will take consistent non-bitch like play to win me over. This season has been a good start but I'm not sold yet.

+1...Same goes for Burrows, I've seen less head snaps this season, but the jury is still out.

I believe I read somewhere that it was just the first segment (tip) of the finger that sustained any damage.....but I've been wrong before.
